In the United States tooth decay is one the most prevalent childhood diseases. Untreated tooth decay may result in chronic pain, infection and an inability to eat. More than 51 million school hours are lost every year because of these problems.

For 15 years, PRASAD CDHP has used a unique mobile dental clinic to deliver healthy smiles to children, right at their schools, in rural Sullivan & Ulster counties in New York.

New York—The PRASAD Project (PRASAD) today joined President Bill Clinton at the Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative to commit to improving food security and environmental outcomes in the Tansa Valley region of India. PRASAD is committing to address regional food security by training local farmers in organic farming and horticulture methods. Through its commitment to action, PRASAD will also address regional issues that have plagued local farmers for generations, including environmental degradation, economic disempowerment and illiteracy.
