Ganeshpuri, India— On June 5, the people of Ganeshpuri celebrated World Environment Day with activities organized by representatives from PRASAD Chikitsa, and from local schools and youth groups. De la France, Avec l'Amour! (From France, With Love)
As 260 guests enjoyed dinner, members of the troupe, “Events to Come,” entertained them with a sparkling blend of song and dance. They also had a chance to win works of art by artist Jocelyne Tanga, who donated three of her paintings and ten posters for a raffle. Event organizer and Prasad France board member Isabelle Floret said, "We really had a wonderful evening. It was friendly, unaffected and warm.”
Isabelle thanked the guests, saying, “Your generous gifts will become the medical services and equipment, the agricultural tools, the educational supplies - all the wonderful resources with which we help families of the Tansa Valley to change their futures.”
Isabelle also thanked PRASAD supporter Marie Burroni, Jocelyne Tanga, the festival committee and the town council of Châteauneuf-les-Martigues for their warm welcome, their enthusiasm and their commitment, which made the soirée a success.
