Development U.S. - Concert: The Subject Tonight is Love

On January 17, 2009, Laz and Helen Slomovits presented an intimate concert at the home studio of Joan Hennigar, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The theme, “The Subject Tonight is Love,” was perfect for an event to benefit The PRASAD Project. For their guests, the couple sang the poetry of Rumi, Hafiz, Lalleshwari, Emily Dickinson and others. In Laz’s words, “It was a very sweet event, and there was a wonderful feeling in the room.”

The group is already looking forward to carrying the “Subject of Love,” into 2010; “We don't have a date picked yet, but we've talked with Joan, who hosted the last two, and she is enthusiastic about this becoming a yearly tradition,” said Laz. Editor’s Note: If you’d like to hear some excerpts from Laz’s CD, “Give Light,” visit http://www.geminichildrensmusic.com/order/adults.php.
