PRASAD Espaņa Produces Films to Support India Programs

In March 2008, a team led by Fernando Colomo, renowned Spanish film producer and the spokesperson for PRASAD España, spent ten days in the Tansa Valley, India, shooting footage of PRASAD Chikitsa programs. The filming captured many project activities as well as interviews with staff and some project leaders.

The footage will be used to produce documentaries on two PRASAD Chikitsa programs in the Tansa Valley: the Self Help Groups (SHGs) and the HIV/AIDS programs. Each documentary will provide an in-depth look at the work being done and the great success these programs have achieved. The films, which will be available in both English and Spanish, will be shown in different media as well as used for PRASAD presentations. Also donors and other licensees will be able to purchase the DVDs.

The Self Help Group documentary should be finished by the end of 2008, and the HIV/AIDS Program documentary will be complete in 2009.

We hope you enjoy these photos from the filming, taken by photographer Miriam Axelrod.
