Hurleyville, N
Y— Recently, PRASAD was invited to join the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
CGI is a world-wide community of leaders dedicated to building a strong, sustainable global community. CGI members have made more than 2,100 commitments, which have already improved the lives of nearly 400 million people in more than 180 countries.
The invitation arrived after The PRASAD Project, in partnership with PRASAD Chikitsa, successfully applied for complimentary membership (a $10,000 value) in the CGI. The application process included making a Commitment to Action – a plan to address a specific global challenge. Our commitment is “A Budding Interest: Organic Farming in the Tansa Valley of India”.
As a CGI member, PRASAD will be assigned a
relationship manager with expertise in one of our four Global Challenge areas: Economic Empowerment, Education, Environment & Energy, or Global Health. The relationship managers will provide advice, share information, and help PRASAD to make connections with organizations working on similar issues.
This is an exciting opportunity for PRASAD, and for those we serve, as we strengthen ties with like-minded and influential people and organizations, and move our mission forward with success.
