Ganeshpuri, India— On June 5, the people of Ganeshpuri celebrated World Environment Day with activities organized by representatives from PRASAD Chikitsa, and from local schools and youth groups. Prasad Project’s health care programs are making a difference in the lives of thousands of people around the world every day.

Whether it is a mother-to-be battling AIDS in India, or a school-aged child suffering from gum disease in New York, or a laborer blinded by cataract in Mexico, PRASAD reaches out to those in need with timely and quality health care.

PRASAD’s approach to health care is a holistic one: the idea is to not only treat and care for people in need, but also to build healthy communities. Our curative health initiatives are complemented by preventative and community health programs.
