We continue celebrating PRASAD’s 30th anniversary!
In celebration of PRASAD’s 30th Anniversary, the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce arranged a ribbon-cutting ceremony at our offices in Liberty, New York, on October 7, 2022.
Representatives from Sullivan County Public Health, local media, donors, volunteers, elected officials, and community partners joined in the festivities. Assemblywoman Aileen Gunter addressed attendees, noting PRASAD’s dedication to helping people in need across the globe and thanking PRASAD Children’s Dental Health Program for providing affordable, accessible dental care to low-income children in Sullivan County. She also spoke about how important these services are to the community.
Dr. Vivek Panchapakesan, PRASAD Board of Trustees Co-Chair, and Dr. M. Cecilia Escarra, PRASAD Executive Director, cut the ribbon.

This is a new milestone in PRASAD’s journey, and we are committed to continuing to provide services in partnership with our communities,” commented Dr. Escarra.
A ribbon cutting symbolizes new beginnings and builds anticipation for future endeavors. At PRASAD, we are looking forward to many more years of sustainable, life-changing humanitarian work.
