The PRASAD Project was incorporated on March 13, 1992. This anniversary year is a time to reflect on PRASAD’s humanitarian work. What started as a modest effort providing aid to a handful of tribal villages in the remote Tansa Valley region has now become a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, with branches in six countries on four continents.
